Newly added resources do not show up in preferred resources

SYMPTOMS
Is there a way to automatically add resources as preferred resource, without having each resource having to go into preferences to add them. The expectation is that a manager could add their new resources and manage this issue so that the front end users don't have to add the resouces in themselves (like an automatic roll up).
 
REASON
Automatic rollups for preferred resources is not possible at this time. When adding a workgroup as a preferred resource and saving, the workgroup is broken out into the individual resources. So in effect, any new resources for the workgroup will have to be added manually.


RESOLUTION
User will have to manually add the resources to the preferred resources list for all newly created users, or ask for a customization.
