Why "Workgroup type" field is not available in Cognos? (V2012 SP1)

Question:
We need to use the field named "Workgroup type" in a Cognos report.

This field is listed into the Cognos Data Model reference guide - V2012 SP1 but it is not accessible through Cognos.

Would it be possible to make it accessible?
