Changes done in Microsoft Project are not saved back to Changepoint

SYMPTOMS

Changes done to a project in Microsoft Project (MSP) do not update the project in Changepoint, despite the project being saved before leaving MSP.

ANSWER

In order to save changed tasks back to Changepoint, the column 'Update CP' needs to be changed to 'Yes' before you save the project and leave MSP. By default, this column is set to 'No' so this has to be done manually for those tasks to be saved back to Changepoint.
