Cannot change engagement billing type to fixed fee

QUESTION

When trying to change the billing type of an engagement to 'fixed fee', an error message occurs.

ERROR

Some of your assigned tasks are not linked to a fixed fee schedule. The billing type cannot be changed to fixed fee only.


RESOLUTION

This means that there are still tasks in a project for the engagement that are not linked to a fixed fee. All projects/tasks need to be checked and a fixed fee added when missing. This has to be done for all tasks on all levels, not only top-level tasks.
