Some Cognos reports appear more than once in the Changepoint report tree view. What is the cause of this and how can it be fixed?

 


ANSWER

Please make sure that the report in question only exists once in Cognos. It might exist multiple times in different folders, e.g. if accelerator reports have been imported twice into multiple folders. Also, a user might have created a personal copy of a report to change it.

If this is the case, plesase delete the duplicates in Cognos, or restrict the access rights so that each user will only see the one version of each report that he should access.

Note: Starting with GP 17.02.086.000 a tooltip in the tree view shows the directory where a report is stored in Cognos. This facilitates locating the duplicates in Cognos.
