After modifying the IP address of the Cognos server, and configuring the Server Integration in Changepoint Administration and the dispatcher URIs in IBM Cognos Configuration (on both the IIS server and on Cognos server), it is still not possible to access Cognos from Changepoint. 


Despite configuring the dispatcher URI in IBM Cognos Configuration tool (either on IIS server or on Cognos server), the IP address may still retain the old value in cogstartup.xml that is located in the folders below:

C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\c10\configuration

C:\Program Files (x86)\ibm\cognos\c10\configuration

If that is the case, then edit the XML file manually and correct the IP address. After that, start the IBM Cognos Configuration tool and verify that the IP is correct. Save the configuration with the correct IP address in IBM configuration tool again so that the cryptographic information is generated without errors:
