Task planned effort is not distributed till planned finish date

A task has been planned to run over 10 years. However, when checking the allocation per fiscal period, it appears that after 5 years no more effort is allocated into the fiscal periods.

Fiscal periods have been set up to cover the next 10 years. 


By default, Changepoint has working days setup for the next 5 years, so any operation involving planned effort after this date (project planning, reporting) might think there are no working days after this date.

To solve this

1 - Instead of planning one task for a duration with 10 years, plan a task for 5 years and in a couple of years, add another task to cover the remaining duration.

Or

2 - The default number of years for future working days can be changed. This is done in the table ServerSettings, column DemandFutureYears. Before changing this value, please take into account that increasing this value can have an impact on performance, esp. for reporting. Any change first has to be done and validated in a test environment.
