Where can the manager comments be added to a task assignment?

The Manager Comment field is intended to be used by the project manager for additional information about the task, which is why it is not editable in the Update Task Status dialog.

The project manager can add comments to assignments from the following places: 

  • project planning worksheet (PPW) – Assignment Comment field
  • project worksheet – Comment field
  • Task status compliance report (only supported in Microsoft Internet Explorer)
