The Changepoint Mail Service starts for a split second then stops

Reason

Changepoint does a version check between the service and the database.If the versions do not match the service is not allowed to start.

Resolution

Make sure the mail service installed corresponds to the version stored in the version table.

Additional Notes

To check the version of the mail service, right click on the .exe, open properties -> details and check the field 'File version'.
