Searching for projects using both project and alternate name does not work

Although the project name and alternate name are separated only by a dash in the project profile, they actually come from separate fields. Therefore you will get results only if you search for either the project name or the alternate name, but not both. 

The quick search, advanced search and project tree view searches perform "starts with" searches by default. That is, the search results must start with the search criteria that you specify. To search for a project name that "contains" the search criteria, you must enter a percent sign (%) in front of the search text.

Note that some tree view searches perform "contains" searches.
