How can we track updates in Project fields?

QUESTION:
We need to check the possibility to mark certain project fields, as "baseline" or as "reviewed", and then track any changes to these fields and be able to identify the changed fields. How can we track updates in fields?


ANSWER:
History tracking can be enabled on configurable fields. It is possible to use the data source DS_UDFHistory for reporting purposes.

However, it is not possible to enable history tracking for standard fields such as "ProjectType" for Project entity.
