Is it required for the workflow step assignee to have access to the entity itself?

If a workflow step is assigned to a user, is it required for this user to have access to the entity as well? E.g. if a project workflow step is assigned to the user, can the user approve or reject the step even if the user does not have access to the project itself?

 

 

Answer
There is no need for the user to have access to the entity itself, to be able to approve or reject the workflow step.
