Warning about open tasks when copying a project

SYMPTOMS

When copying a project, a warning appears.

WARNING

Resource restrictions exist for the target project and open tasks are not allowed. The [Open task] check box setting will not be copied to the tasks created in the target project.

RESOLUTION

This warning always appears when resource requests are enabled in the source engagement. It is not possible to have open tasks in an engagement where resource requests are enabled. So the copy project function will remove the 'open task' flag from any task in the target project. This is an informative message, it is not preventing the copy project action from completing.

The message appears depending on the resource request setting in the target project. It does not check if actually any open tasks are to be copied or not.
