Time de-submission rules

Question
We have some time entries that are "Approved" and "Not Invoiced", but still the user is not able to desubmit these time entries.  How we can we make time available for desubmission?

 


 

Resolution
Time can only be desubmitted if it has been approved but not included in an invoice. If it had been included in an invoice and a credit not was issued for the invoice, the credit note needs to be approved and then committed before the time becomes available for desubmission.

  • The users must have the Desubmit feature assigned to them to desubmit time.

  • If the user finds that they cannot open a time record desubmission, the record may have been locked by the System Administrator. Locked time records are unavailable for editing or desubmission.

  • Adjusted time entries are not available for desubmission.
