Is there an email notification for a new request assign to a resource? (CP 2009)

QUESTION
Is there an email notification in Changepoint 2009 out of box to be turned on so that the resource gets an email as they have no idea when a Request is assigned. The resource can see it through the home page currently, but do not receive an email. If no email template is available out of the box, how do I create one that will trigger upon New Request Assigned to a Resource?


ANSWER
Receiving an email for the transfer of a request from one resource to another would require a custom trigger. Otherwise they will have to wait to upgrade to Changepoint 2010 which has further email notification capabilities.
