Inactive users receiving email notifications

Why do resources still receive emails even after they are de-activated?
Does the email services check the status of a resource (i.e. unassigned) and not send an email to an unassigned resource.



With the existing design, it does not check when a resource is unassigned, and un-assigning a resources does not disable any email notifications enabled for this resource. The proper procedure is to perform the following when a resource needs to be unassigned:

1. Log in as the resource, and go to Preferences – Email Notifications and manually check off the “Disable all email notifications”. Enabling this flag in the backend does not produce the same results.

2. Once the Disable all email notifications has been manually checked via the UI, then proceed with un-assigning the resource.
