Cannot save Cognos report view in Changepoint 2017 SP2 using Internet Explorer

When the user saves a report view, an XML error is displayed and the report view is not saved.

This is a known issue in IBM Cognos 11.1.1, which is the version used in Changepoint 2017 SP2. Changepoint 2017 SP1 and earlier versions are not affected.

As a workaround, you can use Chrome to save a report view.
