Edit Calendar Entry - How to restrict the list of projects to link to

Question
When adding a calendar entry, by clicking the "Optional details" tab and select Project as the "Reference," the drop-down list returns everything the resource has ever been assigned to; regardless if the projects are open or closed at any level.
Is there any way to limit the scope of that to only open projects?

 


 

Answer
There is no way to limit the scope of the projects to just open ones via the core application.
When creating a calendar entry, the application allows association to any project for which you have access to, not just 'active' ones.
