What happens when a maximum revenue amount is set or reduced?

Question

What happens when a maximum revenue amount is set on an engagement (for time based revenue recognition) and there is already more time recognized than that limit? Or if there is an existing limit and it is reduced to below what has already been recognized?

Would Changepoint recognize negative recenue so that the new limit is not passed?


Resolution

For time base revenue recognition, Changepoint will not generate negative revenue. If the maximum amount is changed (or reduced) to below what is already recognized, Changepoint would simply stop recognizing further time based revenue.
