Security error QE-DEF-0157 when running Cognos report

SYMPTOMS:
Gives a security error when the user runs the report.

ERROR/WARNING MESSAGES:
QE-DEF-0157 The model or package /content/package[@name='Reports']/model[last()] does not exist or you are not allowed to use it because of security settings.'

REASON:
Access not provided at the Package level.

RESOLUTION:

Ensure that permissions have been granted to User / User Class on the package as follows:

1. Log into Cognos Connection as a System Administrator.
2. Browse to the package location.
3. Go to the Permissions tab and select Set Properties.
4. Check the 'Override the access permissions acquired from parent entry' checkbox, if not already checked.
5. Click Add.
6. Browse to the Series 7 namespace User/User Class, select it and click Add, then click OK.
7. Check the User/User Class checkbox of the entry that you just added.
8. Check the Read, Execute and Traverse checkboxes, then click Apply and OK.
9. Log on as the User added or a user of the User Class added and run the report.

The report should now run without errors.
