Request status cannot be changed

SYMPTOMS

When editing a request, no different status can be selected, although there is currently no active workflow process for this request and the user is allowed to edit the request.

 


RESOLUTION

A user can only select a new status for the request in the user interface if he has access to a transition starting from the current status. Please make sure that the current workflow definition has any transitions starting from the current request status. Also check if there are any access restrictions on these transitions and change the permissions and transitions as required.
