V2014 Cognos - change file extension of CSV report output to CSV

SYMPTOMS

When exporting Cognos reports in CSV format, the file extension is blank or XLS, rather than CSV.

 

RESOLUTION

This is due to a typo in some IBM Cognos configuration. Please follow the link below in order to see how to correct the configuration:
