Manual allocation is not carried over into Exchange

Symptoms

ge Synchronization, the manual  allocation of task assignments in Changepoint is not carried over into Exchange. When checking a task in the Outlook calendar, all days are the same for the duration of the assignment.

Answer

This is working as designed and documented in the online help. The Exchange Synchronization will create a full day appointment from planned start till planned finish. Manual allocations, like a resource is only working part time on an assignment (or not at all for some periods) are not carried over into Exchange.
