Duplicated entries in "Time Listing with Costs and Billing Information" report for a resource

SYMPTOMS: 
One of the reports "Time Listing with Costs and Billing Information" is duplicating the entries for a resource. 

REASON:
Duplicate records found in the resourceRate table for that resource.

RESOLUTION:
Go to System manager, User Setup. Edit the user and in the ‘Confidential’ section, deactivate one of the rates with effective date that start with duplicating entries in the report.
