Symptoms
A user that has no Cognos features in Changepoint, has access to a Workspace through one of his Portal.
When opening the workspace, a save icon is available and when saving the workspace, the following error occurs :
Unable to save the workspace
"Unable to get property '_showing' of undefined or null reference.
Reason
The user has been granted access to permission that gives access to the "Save" button in Workspace, but has no complete rights to perform this action.
Resolution
To change the permission and remove the Save access, please follow the below steps:
1. Go to IBM Cognos Administration.
2. On the Security tab, click Capabilities.
3. Find the Executive Dashboard capability and click it.
4. Click the actions button next to Use Interactive Dashboard Feature, and click Set properties.
5. Click the Permissions tab.
6. Check Consumers.
7. Uncheck Execute permission.
8. Click OK to save the change.
