What is the best practice is for recognizing the remaining revenue for the fixed fee projects that have been completed?

Symptoms

For example on one of the engagement: the % complete reflects 99.87%, so there is 0.13% of revenue left to be recognized. The project is marked as completed in the system.

We can update the fixed fee to 100% complete under the engagement's fixed fee schedule, but when we run the "01-Pre-run" revenue report, Changepoint tries to override the percent complete back to the original amount.


Resolution
The best practice is to override the percent complete to 100% (after clicking 'update' on the pre-run report). Once revenue has been fully recognized, the fixed fee should drop off the report.
