Failure in job 'update time rate'

Symptoms

After a mass update of rates in the system, the update time rate job fails with an error message.

Error/warning messages:

Executed as user: XXX\XXX. Attempting to grow LOB beyond maximum allowed size of 2147483647 bytes. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 7119)  The statement has been terminated. [SQLSTATE 01000] (Error 3621).  The step failed."

Reason

This can happen if email notifications based on the time table have been configured and when a huge amount of time records is updated by the job.

Resolution

If this failure occurs after a mass change of rates, disable the trigger TIU_EAudit_Time on the table before the job runs next time. After a successful run of the job, the trigger can be enabled again.
