MSP Interface doesn't recognize resource names when a percentage is specified

In MSP some project managers add a percentage to a resource name, to indicate that the resource doesn't work full time on the task. 

Example:

Peter Smith [50%]

However, in that case the assignment in Changepoint is not created. Can this be changed?

This is working as designed and cannot be changed. By adding the percentage, the resource name is changed and thus the Changepoint MSP interface doesn't find a matching resource in Changepoint. The name field on a task assignment in MSP needs to exactly match a resource name in Changepoint in order to be recognized.
