ValidateUDF job failing with 'SURVEY is not a recognized built-in function name' error
Symptoms:
The job "ValidateUDFs" is failing.
Error/warning messages:
Job ValidateUDF: EXEC CHECKFORMULA 'PRODUCT', 'ProductText490', 'SURVEY("Application Owner Satisfaction Survey")', NULL
'SURVEY' is not a recognized built-in function name.
Reason:
UDF were using calculated formula referencing unavailable Surveys
Resolution:
If survey has expired, the expiry date can be extended.
If the survey has been deleted from the database then the formula set in the UDF has to be removed, as it is referencing a survey that does not exist anymore.
