Retroactively update rates on timesheets |
Time managers (members of the Time Manager group) can synchronize timesheets (whether submitted, unsubmitted, or approved) retroactively with updated internal rates. For example, if the rate table assigned to a resource is updated, the Time Manager would navigate to Organization/Manage Time/Resource Time, select the relevant timesheet(s) to update, and choose Actions > Adjust Internal Rates. This will update the rate on the selected timesheets. Note that if project time had been entered, rollup fields such as Actual Cost will reflect the rate change. |

Financial Summary |
The Financial Summary feature is intended to be a highly configurable rollup of all project financials data, including expenses and revenue, with a time series comparison of budget vs. forecast vs. actuals. Permitted users can configure the available summary fields including what data feeds those fields (manually entered data, financial entries, timesheet actuals, staffing role/resource allocations, and others). |

Release Notes
Function Area | LeanKit Card ID | Release Note Description |
---|---|---|
Data Import | 1054892669 | Fixed. When importing a scoring profile as part of a project create/update, specifying the profile with its ID works as expected. Previously, an issue was causing the import to appear to be successful, yet the scoring profile had not been updated. |
Data Import | 1055689688 | Fixed. Importing resources whose unit titles contain an apostrophe works as expected - the import is successful even if the unit title contains an apostrophe. Previously, an issue caused the import to fail if the resource's unit title contained an apostrophe. |
Filters | 1044781718 | Fixed. When building nested filters in a Financial Entries report source, the Saved Filters section for Financial Entry filters appears as expected. Previously, an issue prevented this section from appearing when the user tried to select a new criterion. |
Financial Entries, Permissions | 1051419455 | Fixed. Project Owners who have an Owner profile that include Edit > Forecasts permission, but not Edit > Actuals, can create/edit forecasts, as expected. Previously, an issue prevented users with the correct owner profile configuration from creating forecasts. |
Internationalization | 1054559371 | Fixed. When new users are created, the Admin/Organization/Default Locale setting is respected through the UI. In other words, all strings are translated to the correct language. Previously, an issue caused parts of the UI to display in US/English, even if the Default Locale was set to something other than US/English. |
LeanKit integration | 1061385807 | New. There is a new field called "LK Projected Finish Date" available for use with the LeanKit integration. This field reflects the projected finish date calculated by LeanKit for the corresponding card. |
Managed Staffing | 1060970361 | Fixed. When using the managed staffing, the project score on the Resource Staffing screen reflects the weighted scored. Previously, an issue caused the raw score to be displayed. |
OData | 1048475507 |
NA. Characters with diacritics (Umlaut, Acute, Grave, Cedilla, Circumflex, Breve, Hacek,Tilde) can be included in the Odata data feed. Note that if you have an existing published dashboard that is not on a schedule, you'll need to republish it - either manually or via a schedule - to apply the fix for this issue. UPDATE: Reworking this issue, targeting fix in June. |
Portfolio, Asset Classes | 1048447741 | Fixed. Portfolio and Asset classes can be deleted provided no instance of the class exists, as expected. Previously an issue was preventing the user from deleting a portfolio class. |
Project Staffing | 1044741323 | Fixed. (Applies to Managed Staffing) After receiving a proposed staffing request - either for a resource or a role - a resource staffing manager can adjust the demand of proposed request as expected, with any unmet demand being carried forward. Previously, if the proposed staffing allocation included a resource, any unmet demand was summed with the original value. |
Permissions | 1024590935 | Improved. The Admin/Permissions page is loading quickly even permission profiles containing large numbers of categories. |
Projects, Permissions | 1060950484 | Improved. When creating a project from a template, you need View permission for the template project in order to view/select it in the New Project Wizard. You must have Create permission for at least one category in order to create a project from the template - either the category the template uses, or a different category for which the user has Create permission. If you happen to pick a category other than the one used by the template, only the fields that are in common between the 2 categories will be copied. Previously, the user was required to have Create permission to view the template project in the New Project wizard. |
Reports (legacy and Beta) | 1054849329 | New. You can now report on resource secondary roles in both legacy and new reporting |
Reports (legacy) | 1054546440 | Fixed. Audit History reports on Projects in a Portfolio with links to multiple portfolios produces expected results. Previously, if a project was linked to multiple portfolios, no data was returned. |
Resources | 1054867057 | Fixed. Phone numbers on resource records that include a dash (510-123-4567) retain their format when exported to Excel. Previously, an issue resulted in the HTML character code for a hyphen (‐) appear in in the Excel cell, rather than the hyphen. |
SSA | 1051391865 | Fixed. After formatting text in the description of the Description field at the Details level in SSA, the text renders as expected at the Available Fields level. Previously, when description text was formatted on the Details page, the HTML markup was visible in the description of the Description field on Available Fields. |
Timesheets, Alerts | 1044722322 | Fixed. When creating/editing timesheet alerts to be sent Weekly at a specific time, you can see the CC Recipients list and select from it, as expected. Previously, an issue was preventing the CC control from scrolling into view. |
