Editing and Deleting Portfolios

To edit a portfolio

  1. Click the yourPortfolios navigation icon.
  2. Double-click the portfolio you want to edit, or select it and choose Actions > Open.
  3. Make your edits. If you find that you cannot edit any of the fields, then you only have View permission for the portfolio.
  4. Click Save.

To delete a portfolio

Note that you must be in List or Tree view to delete a portfolio (can't delete from the chart view). Note also that you cannot delete a portfolio that has children. Do delete the parent, you must select a different parent (or no parent) from the child portfolios' Parent Portfolio field on their Details tabs.

  1. Click the yourPortfolios navigation icon.
  2. Select the title of the portfolio that you would like to delete and choose Actions > Delete or right-click and select Delete from the context menu. If you do not have a Delete menu item then you do not have permission to delete the portfolio. Contact your PPM Pro administrator if you think your permissions are not correct.
  3. Confirm the delete.
