About Capital Costs
You can use the capitalize feature to designate a Summary Task and its sub-tasks as Capitalized or Non-Capitalized in order to identify budget, estimate, and actual project costs as either capital or non-capital costs. The "Is Capitalized?" checkbox is set at the summary task level, and applies to the financial information for the summary task and all of its sub-tasks. The information is available on the Project Basic Info screen as a roll-up of the costs (Cap, Non-Cap and Total), and in reports via the "To Date" and Time reporting functions.
For more information about the Cap/Non-Cap option, or to activate the option please contact your PPM Pro Account Manager.
