Releases are deployed during the standard maintenance windows.

Reminders

  • Defect fixes and occasional beta features are delivered weekly; most beta features and GA features (when ready) are delivered monthly.
  • You can request that beta features be enabled in your production environment by entering a support ticket (some beta features not initially available in production, Planview will advise). Please note that any issues you find will be handled during the normal development cycle. 
  • Planview sends out status emails in advance of planned and non-planned releases/updates/incidents. These alerts include the date and time window of the releases/updates/incident, as well as a link to the release notes that include a list of the issues addressed in the releases/updates/incident.   • We typically hold a live product release webinar on the Wednesday before the production release. April 5 Reports 1716329278 Fixed. Task phases and milestones were not visible in project Gantt reports when the instance's Locale was not set to English (US). This issue was caused by the date format associated with other locale settings. Now, task phases and milestones are visible in Gantt reports in all instances, regardless of locale.
April 1 Financial Entries 1703174454 Fixed. In some instances, date filters in Financial Entry reports were inappropriately excluding actuals from the reports. This no longer occurs and date filters include all appropriate data from actuals.

Fixed. We fixed a number of issues around the display of zero values in reports:

  • In some reports where zero values are configured to be hidden, zero values were still being returned. This no longer happens and zero values appear as blank rows in reports.
  • In Task schedule reports, filtering out zero values did not work. Now, user can successfully exclude zero values from their report output.
  • Using the Do not include zero values option also hid non-zero data. This no longer happens and this option only hides zero values.
  • The Do not include zero values option now hides excluded fields completely from the report. Previously, excluded fields still appeared as empty rows in the report.
March 25 Legacy Dashboards 1553856598 Fixed. Automated expiration notices for legacy dashboards are being sent out again.
March 18 Dashboards 1691204078 Fixed. Adding a container title to a report would disable its auto height settings when the report is viewed from a dashboard, adding a vertical scroll bar when it wasn't needed. Now, container titles respects report auto height settings in the dashboard.
March 18 Reports 1658872447 Fixed. Report rows were not being sorted correctly when they included secondary sorting criteria. This no longer occurs and reports are sorted correctly.

 Dashboards 1647868671 Fixed. Users without the appropriate permissions can no longer view project overview dashboards in their project dashboards list. Previously, users lacking those permissions could view the dashboards.

 Reports 1666185533 Fixed. On some Time Series reports with a frequency set to Monthly, Actual hours per resource were not being exported correctly to Excel. What was being exported was the total hours for that resource for the duration covered by the report, not the actual hours for each month. This no longer occurs and the exported Actual hours match the original report.

 Requests 1694132033 Fixed. In requests, category selections made in list view would not persist when switching to card view. Now, they do.

 Tasks 1699821569 Fixed. We fixed an issue where two additional columns appeared in the task grid. These columns, ImpliedProposed and ImpliedClosed, did not appear in Admin and could not be removed. We removed these columns and they no longer appear anywhere in the UI.

 Financial Entries 1660761649 Fixed. Editing the From date on a financial entry forecast does not throw an error if the To date is hidden. Previously, if the To date field was hidden, an error was thrown if the From date was detected to be earlier than the hidden To date.

Improved. The new Portfolio Chart View renders the portfolio organization much more cleanly and includes various controls for zoom, export, and expand/collapse options.

 Reports 1671598798 Fixed. When a date field is grouped, some previously selected Display Data As date options (day and time) were not applicable. Now, when a group option is selected, we have restricted the list of Display Data As options to only show viable options.

 Tasks 1702860356 Fixed. Milestones now display as diamonds when the Locale is not English.

 Tasks, Reports 1703663615 New. Cross-project dependencies are now shown as an icon in the Task Gantt view and reports. Hovering over the Gantt bar or icon provides the same task details as before with additional information about dependencies.
