Security

Following our recurring security assessment process, two vulnerabilities were detected in the Apache Log4j Core that is used within IdeaPlace. This update targets these vulnerabilities specifically through the application of the latest patch (apache-log4j-2.22.0) across all IdeaPlace servers.

User Registration 

We have received a report that the ‘reCAPTCHA’ feature which is used for non-single sign on instances was failing to display for some users. This resulted in some users being unable to create accounts. 

Following an investigation, we isolated the issue which was caused by a timeout issue with reCAPTCHA. We have now published a resolution and tested user account creation in a non-single sign on configuration.
