Security Profile Setting

Introduction

A security profile setting is available as part of continuing enhancements for high security sites.

How it Works

With the new security setting of Medium, a user can now securely post an idea, add a comment or vote without being hijacked by external communications applications such as Instant Messaging or email while he is logged into the system.

It is recommended that a customer set up SSL communication for the profile of an individual who needs this level of security, and set the security profile to high for existing form ID settings as well as setting up an appropriate session timeout value.

Upon request, Spigit Operations will set the following values, applicable to the whole site:

For Security Level: Medium

<FORM_ID_CHECKED>true</FORM_ID_CHECKED>

<SECURITY_LEVEL>1</SECURITY_LEVEL>

For Security Level: High

<FORM_ID_CHECKED>true</FORM_ID_CHECKED>

<SECURITY_LEVEL>2</SECURITY_LEVEL>

For Security level: Low

No setting is required.
