4.4.1 Release Notes

Desktop Fixes

Overview

This section details all of the fixes that have been delivered as part of the release, along with the scenario in which they presented themselves prior to being fixed.

Administration

Editing Widgets – Following reports that formatting and content was being stripped from editable widgets during publishing, we were able to successfully replicate the issue. Having investigated the issue we were able to correct the problem which was linked to a compatibility issue.

Hover/Tool Tip Help – There are some instances of blank hover over ‘help’ text in the administration panel. We have now removed those blank hover boxes from display.

API

Idea API – There were reports that during idea creation using the API, a copy action was producing a mismatch between the API 200 response and the actual database. We have now corrected both the response and the database entry to match.

Challenges

Challenge Dashboard – The challenge mini header was not displaying correctly on the Dashboard page analytics tab. We have investigated the issue and corrected it. This means the mini header will appear now on the analytics tab.

NOTE

UPDATE:

Phase Emails – Following the fix deployed in version 4.4 to the phase emails, we have altered the behaviour of the phase emails in a specific scenario. When you add a phase to a challenge, the phase email will be enabled. This is to avoid a symptom which we identified when the phase emails caused issues prior to version 4.4. We are reviewing that and hope to update in a coming release.
