Import Items from Workspace Templates to a Workspace 

We have made it possible for the workspace administrator or owner to import selected boards, documents, custom fields and groups in workspace templates to the workspace. Examples of use cases where the import functionality is useful is for connected projects planned to get started or large projects that are about to start a new phase and you want to import predefined boards and documents to your workspace.

The selected items includes following:

• Boards. Includes the cards
• Documents. Includes the folders and subfolders
• Groups. All groups will be imported. Any defined permission rights will also be copied and applied to the imported boards and folders and their content
• Custom fields. Imports the custom fields applied to documents and cards

 In order for the workspace template to be available for selection, the workspace template needs to be published.

Portfolios Tool Available in the ProjectPlace App for Android

Customers can now monitor and track their portfolios' progress more easily using our mobile apps. Initially, this feature is only available on Android, but we plan to also add it to our iOS app later this year. This enhancement is designed for customers who use our Portfolios tool and will allow them to stay updated on their portfolios' performance at all times. The information is only available for viewing and cannot be edited. You will be able to view portfolio details and group your portfolios by Priority, Last updated, Deviations, Name and Current milestone. To better sort and refine your results, you have the option to filter your portfolios.

Terminology Update to Access Rights

We have updated the terminology for Access rights and the different levels to be more consistent across our platform. The functionality remains unaffected.

The following terminology changes have been made: 

• Access rights has changed to Permissions.
• Read and write has changed to Edit.
• Read has changed to View.
• No access remains the same.

Updated Interface for External Document Reviews

As we continuously enhance our service, we have updated the user interface for the document review feature sent to the non-ProjectPlace users. The functionality remains the same.

Enhancement to the Workspace Invitation Modal

When you invite new members to a workspace and start typing their name in the "Add members" field, a dropdown list appears with suggestions of users who are members of the same workspace/s as you. Previously, only the name of the suggested users was displayed, making it difficult to identify the correct person, especially in organizations with many users who share the same first and last name. To address this issue, the email address is now also visible alongside their name in the dropdown list, making it easier to select the correct person.

Enhancements to the Workspaces List

Today users can be part of many workspaces and one feedback we received is that users would like to more easily find and navigate to workspaces from the Global navigation. Based on this we have added the following enhancements:

• Categorize your workspaces by creating your own groups and add workspaces to these. The groups are user-specific and can only be viewed by you.
• View your recent workspaces. Up to five workspaces can be presented in the Recent Workspaces section.

The functionality to hide workspaces will remain the same.
