My Overview

A New Way to Organize Your Work

As of August 15, 2018, you have the ability to organize the assignments listed in the My work section of the My overview page in a variety of ways. The familiar categories of New, Today, Tomorrow, and Later have been replaced. The daily Your Plan for Today emails are no longer being sent out. Your work can now be sorted by project, due date, task type, or by simply sorting your assignments the way you want to prioritize them.

You can also create a new Personal task or card directly from the My Overview page without having to navigate to a board by using the new Add button at the top of the My work section.

Working with Personal Tasks

This month’s release includes enhancements to Personal tasks - tasks not related to a project and are not shared with other account users. Now, Personal tasks are included in the My work section of the My overview page. Two new features to Personal tasks are:

  • create and use checklists
  • convert Personal tasks into a card on a board.

To learn more, visit Keep Track of Your Work.

Documents

Document Filter Enhancements

We are adding three new Document filter types this month. You now have the option to filter Documents by File format, Created/Modified by date, and Created/Modified by user.

To learn more, visit Work with Documents and Folders.

Boards

Board Filters Updates

We introduced Board filters earlier this year. With this month’s release, the following enhancements are available:

  • All 5 types of Custom Fields are available for filtering
  • Create a card in a filtered board
  • A dialog box appears displaying full names or titles for truncated texts in filters.

To learn more, visit Work with Boards.

Workload

Workload by Capacity View

The new Capacity view in the Workload tool summarizes the amount of work a user has been assigned to each week across all workspaces. The values are based on the relationship between the estimated time on the member’s assigned cards and their weekly capacity.

To learn more, visit Work with the Workload tool.

Mobile Apps

If you do not have a mobile app, visit the Apps download center to get either the iOS or Android mobile app today.

iOS App Users Can Add Links to Document Repositories

Mobile app users are able to keep in touch with team members when they are not in front of their computer. The mobile apps allow users to see and update tasks on the go.

Now, iOS Mobile app users can add links to document repositories such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive directly on a card.

Android users have had access to this feature since early 2018 and now iOS users have the same access. Note: Access rights are determined by the third-party repository.

Other Enhancements

A number of performance related enhancements and bug fixes have been included in this month's release.
