Attach files from SharePoint sites available on the Android mobile app

When adding attachments to cards, activities, milestones, etc. in the mobile app, users can now select files from their SharePoint sites. Note that this is only visible for the accounts that have the SharePoint integration enabled. This was recently released for the iOS mobile app but is now also available for the Android mobile app.

Projectplace is available on App Store and on Google play.

New details pane for workspace details within a portfolio

We are continuing to make our UI more consistent with the rest of the service and this time we have updated our details pane for the workspace details that you find in the single portfolio view.

Attachments added to cards with the Outlook add-in

The Outlook add-in for Projectplace now supports adding attachments from an email to a card as an attachment. By default, attachments are set to be added to the card, but the user can choose to create a card without attachments by deselecting the attachments that should not be added to the card.

Workload tool updates

We have overhauled the Workload tool. The key changes are:

  • The Workspace Administrators and the Team administrators will get default access to the Workload tool along with Workload managers and Account owners/administrators.
  • The capacity and assignments view in the timeline take into account the start and end date of the card to spread the estimation and resource capacity over that time frame.
  • The new list view provides an opportunity to drill down into individual workspace and their respective assignments for members.
  • Account administrators can now set the weekly capacity of account members from within the workload tool. If the weekly capacity is updated, the account member is notified of this.
  • We have merged the two different views "Capacity view" and "Card view" into one common view.

The first part of the Workload tool has now been released and we plan to continue to add the possibility to do an individual transfer of assignments in addition to bulk transfer of assignments, more options in the filter, add new detail panes, and more in the upcoming releases.
