April 2019
Boards |
Move Multiple Cards SimultaneouslyUse drag and drop functionality to move multiple cards to another column or swim lane on the Board. Now, you can very conveniently select several cards on the Board and move them to another activity, to the Done column, or assign them to someone else by simply dragging and dropping them to the new location. |
Documents |
Link Third-Party Documents in the Documents ToolUsers can now add links from Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, and One Drive into the Documents tool. These documents remain in their native services, but now you can collaborate with these third-party documents just as you can with other documents using popular ProjectPlace features like Comments, Reviews, and others. To learn more, visit Add Documents, Links, and Folders. |
Integrations |
Slack Now Integrates with ProjectPlaceSlack has emerged as one of the most popular platforms for collaboration within teams as it enables a seamless transition from task to conversations. Now, with the ProjectPlace app for Slack, you can get the same benefits of transitioning between tasks and conversations by converting a Slack conversation into a ProjectPlace card on a Board and updating details like card Assignees, Status, and Due dates. To learn more, visit Use ProjectPlace with Slack. |
Notifications |
New Email Notification SettingsEmail notifications are great when you want to stay in touch with what is happening, but they can also become overwhelming if you are involved with several tasks or initiatives in very active teams. With this release, we are introducing new email settings to help you better adapt ProjectPlace notifications to suit your specific needs. We have changed the default email notifications settings. The new settings options provide the following:
You can change the above default settings and also set a daily do-not-disturb interval so that you, for example, avoid getting email notifications at night from the User Settings page. You will continue to receive all notifications within the ProjectPlace service and through the mobile apps just as you have before. There are also some additional emails you will continue to receive, such as if you are invited to a workspace, or if you have cards or milestones that are due today. To learn more, visit Manage Your User Account and Settings. |
Mobile AppsIf you do not have a mobile app, visit the Apps download center to get either the iOS or Android mobile app today. |
Showing the Plan for Integrated WorkspacesYou can now attach a card to an activity for a Plan that is integrated with Planview Enterprise One or Planview PPM Pro and see the Plan in the Plan tool on the Android app, which was, until now, not previously available. |
Other Enhancements |
