Opt in to external members in Planview Admin
On Wednesday, 29 April - we're releasing the opt-in feature for syncing external members to Planview Admin. This feature allows you to start the process of syncing external members, with a delay of two weeks to allow for internal communication. The feature itself includes automated messaging to your external members to minimise confusion and disruptions.

Announcing calendar support in ProjectPlace/Portfolios integration
Until now, the ProjectPlace-Portfolios integration only supported a basic calendar. Starting Thursday 30 April, this changes. When ProjectPlace manages the plan, it will use the calendar defined in Portfolios, closing out the same dates and supporting any amount of open time per working day. This means that durations and dates will match across both systems with very high fidelity, regardless of how your Portfolios calendar is defined.
More info to come as we approach activation.
Announcing upcoming support for external members in Planview Admin
Currently, ProjectPlace doesn't sync external members to Planview Admin, blocking them from features like Logbook and the ProjectPlace/Portfolios integration. We're working to close this gap this spring.
New Planview Admin activations already include external members by default. Existing instances will go through an opt-in process managed via account administration. Upon opting in, affected external members will be notified to set up new credentials in Planview Admin, with the actual activation occurring two weeks later to allow time for internal communication and preparation.
At a future date, external members in Planview Admin will become mandatory, and remaining instances will be auto-migrated.
More information to come.
