About the Scoring Chart

The following table describes the elements in the Evaluation Chart, which appears when View Evaluation Chart and Scoring Table or Card Scoring is selected in the Card Scoring toolbar.

Element Description
Scoring Chart metric tabs These tabs, located to the left of the Results tab, show charts for each metric in the selected metric template.
Results

Shows a chart that plots each card into one of three sections based on their total scores and average confidence levels, providing a visual snapshot that groups the cards into the following areas that recommend actions for each card:

  • Lean into: Cards in this section should be prioritized because they have both high scores and high confidence levels in those scores, indicating that these cards are the most important. The cards closest to the top right corner would offer the highest potential return.
  • Continue to research: Cards in this section have low average confidence levels. Even if a card's total score is high, a low confidence level indicates that more research and refinement is needed before the card should be prioritized.
  • Steer clear of: Cards in this section have low scores plus high confidence levels in those low scores. Cards in this section should be put on hold or avoided entirely.

For more information, see Evaluating Scores on the Results Tab.

action menu

  • Show Card Titles: When this option enabled, cards appear on the chart as buttons with each card's title. When this option not selected, cards appear as dots on the chart; you can hover over a dot to see the card title.
  • Show Card Preview: When option is enabled, when you hover over a card's dot or button on the chart, an image of a card as it appears on the board is shown in the bottom left corner of the chart.

Score

A card's total score either based on a weighted sum of all of the card's metrics or an overridden value entered manually.

A solid bar below the score illustrates the average confidence level of all the card's scores. A striped bar below the score indicates that the total score was manually overridden, and you cannot apply individual metric numbers unless you click action menu > Clear scores for that card first.
