Change to User Role field may impact existing Cognos reports

During the March 15 Release, we are releasing a fix for Cognos Report Studio that may require you to rebuild some of your existing reports. The fix remedies an issue which caused inactive users to disappear from report results when the [User Role].[Name] query item was added to reports. With this fix, inactive users will continue to appear in Cognos reports but their enterprise roles will appear blank. This may change the way user results appear in your reports.

If you want to keep inactive users off reports that include enterprise roles, your reports will need to include the following filter to your query: [Presentation].[User Role].[Name] is not null.
