PDF / Excel / CSV / XHTML reports cannot run embedded in a Home view report viewer tile

How do I get PDF or Excel files to run in a home view report viewer tile without generating another window?

PDF is an export format, so it cannot be run within the same window as the html report output. It will always generate a new window, as it is creating a file that can be downloaded. The same applies for running reports as XLS and CSV. Daptiv cannot embed PDF or other output files within the application page.
