We are deploying the following enhancements to Daptiv PPM on Friday, October 11, 2019. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your PPM experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). To facilitate training and testing ahead of this release, the features below will be deployed in Sandbox environments on Monday, October 7, 2019. During this release, Daptiv PPM will be unavailable for a short period. The next Daptiv PPM Release is October 25, 2019.

Bulk Editing for Workspaces
In this release, you can now edit profile and status fields for multiple workspaces at once in the Projects tab. To use this feature, check the boxes next to the workspaces you want to edit and then click Edit Fields under Checked Item Actions. This will open the Bulk Edit modal dialog where you can make your changes. This feature allows you to save time when you need to add or modify the same information across multiple workspaces. For more information about how this feature works, please visit the Product News Blog.
Hyperlinks for custom enterprise logos
We’re giving enterprises more capability to customize their Daptiv PPM experience. Enterprises with a custom logo can now add a hyperlink to that logo that can take users to another site of their choosing. The link can go places such as an organization wiki, help file, or corporate website.
System notifications not being marked as read
We fixed a bug where custom notifications sent from the Admin Zone were not being marked as read when they were opened by the recipient. This may have frustrated users who found their notification inbox cluttered by messages that were always marked as unread. This bug no longer occurs, and admin notifications are marked as read normally.
Workflow notifications inappropriately triggered for archived tasks
We fixed an issue where workflow notifications were being sent for tasks in archived workspaces. The notifications were being triggered by edits to the configuration of custom fields used by in the archived tasks. Since the tasks are archived, workflow notifications about them are unnecessary. With this release, changes to custom task field will not trigger workflow notifications for archived tasks.
Blank request types in Cognos reports
This release fixes an issue in reports where the [Type] query item for approval requests did not return a value. Normally, this query item should return the type of the approval request (Timesheet, Workspace, Document, or Dynamic Application name) when included in a report. We resolved this issue and the [Type] query item successfully returns the approval request type in reports.
Unable to upload .mp4 files despite being on the enterprise’s file type whitelist
We fixed an issue where users were unable to upload .mp4 files to their Documents in Daptiv PPM, even though .mp4 is included in their enterprise’s file type whitelist. The issue occurred because the .mp4 file type has multiple valid file signatures and the whitelist only looks for one of them when checking the file for compliance. Now, users should be able to upload any .mp4 file with a valid file signature as long as .mp4 is part of their whitelist.
