This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your PPM experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). To facilitate training and testing ahead of this release, the features below will be deployed in Sandbox environments on Monday, June 15, 2020.

For detailed information about these and all PPM Features, see the PPM Online Help

PPM Enhancements

From the Greenhouse: New filtering options for Team Manager
This release introduces new filtering options for the Resource Allocations section of the Team Manager. Users will be able to filter allocations by project or by specific resource in addition to filtering by resource type, and by resources managed or supervised. The new filters will appear in the “Show” dropdown menu in Team Manager. This enhancement was suggested by customers in the Idea Greenhouse. If you have an idea to make the PPM experience better, visit the Idea Greenhouse and leave us a message.

ProjectTransit update
To improve security across our system, we are releasing a new version of ProjectTransit that does not support the outdated security protocols, TLS 1.0 and 1.1. If you use ProjectTransit, please uninstall your current version and then install the new version from the utilities page. This process will have no impact on existing synchronizations. You will still be able to use the existing version of ProjectTransit until the August 14, at which it will not be able to sync with Changepoint PPM.

Notable PPM Fixes

Errors with custom views caused by multi-select pick lists
This release fixes an issue where adding a multi-select pick list in a custom view for a global Dynamic Application (DA) causes an error on save. Instead of being taken to the view, the user sees an error screen. This issue no longer happens and multi-select pick lists can be added to DA custom views successfully.

Max value aggregations do not recalculate
Custom aggregate fields which were set to return the maximum value from a set of numeric fields were not recalculating. This issue occurred if the set gained a new maximum value and that value was lower than the previous maximum. Now, changing the maximum value in a set will always trigger an aggregate field recalculation.

Enterprise members hidden behind footer in Enterprise Member Directory
In enterprises with more than 50 members, some member names are being pushed below and behind the footer of the Enterprise Member Directory. We fixed this issue and all enterprise members can be seen and selected in the directory.
