PPM Enhancements for August 27, 2021

We are deploying the following enhancements to Changepoint PPM on Friday, August 27, 2021. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your PPM experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). To facilitate training and testing ahead of this release, the features below will be deployed in Sandbox environments on Monday, August 23, 2021. The next Changepoint PPM Release is September 10, 2021.

For detailed information about these and all PPM Features, see the PPM Online Help.

To receive email updates about the latest enhancements coming to Changepoint PPM, click the Follow button on the Release Notes section page in the Daptiv Community.

In addition to the fixes below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current Changepoint PPM experience.

New Enhancements

Planview Customer Success Center
We are transitioning to a new customer support system in Planview’s Customer Success Center (CSC). In the CSC, users can submit support requests, browse the Changepoint PPM Knowledge Base, and keep up with Product News. In this release, we updated the Submit Support Ticket link to go to the new Customer Success Center. The Daptiv Community link has been renamed to Customer Success Center but will continue to lead to the Daptiv Community until the CSC launch in September.

Notable PPM Fixes

Project workgroups listed inappropriately
When adding workgroups to a workspace, the list of workgroups was including workgroups added to other workspaces. This made the list appear to have multiple workgroups that had the same name. Now, the workgroup list will only include enterprise workgroups that have not been added to the workspace already.

Unable to edit long text fields
We fixed an issue which was preventing users from editing some long text field. If the text in a long text field was long enough to need a scroll bar in the input window, the page would become unresponsive. This issue no longer occurs and users can edit any long text field with crashing the page they are on.
