Daptiv Enhancements for July 2023
We are deploying the following enhancements to Daptiv on July 14, 2023. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your Daptiv experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). To facilitate training and testing ahead of this release, the features below will be deployed in Sandbox environments on Monday, July 10, 2023. The next Daptiv Release is August 11, 2023.

In addition to the fixes below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current Daptiv experience.
Notable Fixes
Difficulty distinguishing unread documents in dark mode
User were having difficulty spotting unread documents when in dark mode. To alleviate this issue, unread documents will be marked with a superscript, "New." This superscript is also visible in light mode.
DA webforms not enforcing required fields or blank pick list options
Dynamic Application (DA) webforms were allowing users to save items without filling out required fields and not defaulting to blank options for pick lists configured with blank options. These issues are resolved and webforms will enforce required fields and display default blank options in pick lists.
Pick list field values longer than 100 characters are not displayed
When selecting a pick list value longer than 100 characters long, the value would not be displayed in the field. To prevent this from happening, pick lists can longer be configured with options that are longer than 100 characters. Users will prompted to edit their option down to less than 100 characters when they attempt to edit and save their pick lists.
