We are deploying the following enhancements to Daptiv on January 13, 2023. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your Daptiv experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). To facilitate training and testing ahead of this release, the features below will be deployed in Sandbox environments on Monday, January 9, 2022.
For detailed information about these and all Daptiv Features, see the Daptiv Online Help.
In addition to the fixes below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current Daptiv experience.
Resource type menu text truncated in Spanish
In enterprises with their language set to Spanish, the resource type menu text was being truncated. Now, the resource type menu text is not truncated in any of our available language settings.
Name fields automatically change in DAs
When users edited a Dynamic Application (DA) by making their current Name field not required and not a list header, the DA automatically changed the Name field to another text field. Now, a validation message appears that prompts users to manually select a new name field.
Required field indicator not appearing in some cases
The red asterisk that indicates that a field is required was not appearing for custom status fields with names longer than 27 characters. With this release, the asterisk now appears to the left of the field so it always appears regardless of the length of the field name.
Creating a child workspace resets the parent’s workspace schedule
Creating a child workspace would set the start of its parent workspace schedule to 1/1/1. This no longer occurs.
Change to Daptiv support ticketing
We’re updating our support ticketing policy. Starting with this release, only Daptiv admins will be able to submit support tickets.
