Daptiv Enhancements for November 5

We are deploying the following enhancements to Daptiv on November 5, 2021. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your Daptiv experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). To facilitate training and testing ahead of this release, the features below will be deployed in Sandbox environments on Monday, November 1, 2021. The next Daptiv Release is November 19, 2021.

In addition to the fixes below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current Daptiv experience.  

Notable Fixes 

Blank options in DA status fields cause errors 
We fixed an issue with Dynamic Application (DA) status fields that where blank status options were preventing users from editing the fields. The blank options were also preventing Administrators from editing the fields to remove the options. These issues no longer happen and DA status fields have been updated to match the behavior of workspace status fields, which do not allow blank status options and will warn users when they have one while editing the field configuration. 

Inactive resources do not display resource type 
Resources listed in the Inactive Resources list in the Admin Zone were not displaying their resource types. This issue is resolved and inactive resources display their correct resource types. 

Users warned when aggregate fields have no contributors 
Prior to this release, when users attempted to edit aggregate fields that have lost their contributing fields, they would see an error screen. Now, users will see a message informing them that the aggregated fields have no contributors and should be updated. This allows users to continue working in Daptiv without a disruptive error page.
